Yes, MacFuse and NTFS. But in closing, NEVER whittle your files down to one copy on an external. You don't want to learn this lesson!
Bob
I have a new Western Digital 500gb passport external drive that I want to format using my machine running Mac OS 10.3. So I want to put files from that Mac on the drive but also files in the future from Windows when I get a new Windows 7 machine.
What would be the best formatting strategy? Format as 2 FAT32 partitions each of 250gb size? And then when I get the Windows 7 machine use it to format one of the 250gb partitions as NTFS?
Or just format 1 large FAT32 500GB partition?
I know FAT32 has the 4gb file limitation. I don't have any files bigger than that now and don't know if I will in the future. Thanks
