hi all, ive been thinking about buying a flash mp3 player as they do not skip at all when theyre played.
i've narrowed down my choices to just the "sony nw-e407" and " Samsung YEPP YP-T7Z" but my choices have grounded to a halt.

i simply do not what to choose from as theyre both good DAPs, please help, thanks in advance

Sony's gonna sound better, but some of the samsung have nice color screens which is really nice. The sony is more durable though.

Sandisk Sansa

I have one and the sound is good, it's very small, and there's absolutely no software to install -- just drag and drop. Also, it's expandable -- you can add up to 2 GB of SD memory. I'm waiting for 1 GB to drop below $50 and I'll pick it up. It should be much less than $200, although you never know how expensive things are on your side of the pond.

Drawbacks -- no playlists and it plays albums in alphabetical (not track number) order. Stupid. I've had a few conversations with Sandisk -- maybe we'll get a firmware update. In the meantime, I've used MP3 Tag Tools to add the track number to the ID3-tag track name.
