Best external hardrive for me?

by stratous01 / May 12, 2009 12:29 PM PDT

So I am looking for a really good external hardrive to use with my new western digital media player. I am hoping to find something big, eSata port, and usb powered (not sure if u can have eSata and usb powered??) I have a rather large media collection because I have lots of anime series. I found
but I am not sure if this is what i realy need, I have used only flash drives up to this point for selective media storage. I will be using this w/ my Asus x83vm-x2 laptop. Any replys and questions about what I am lookin for a more than welcomed. thanks and great forum!

I went and got a Transcend (160GB) anyway because it says it pass the drop test..and to my surprise this thing is almost as fast as my external eSATA.
