Best external hardrive for me?

by stratous01 / May 12, 2009 12:29 PM PDT

So I am looking for a really good external hardrive to use with my new western digital media player. I am hoping to find something big, eSata port, and usb powered (not sure if u can have eSata and usb powered??) I have a rather large media collection because I have lots of anime series. I found http://www.pcworld.com/reviews/product/30714/overview/v2_desktop_backup_system_1tb.html
but I am not sure if this is what i realy need, I have used only flash drives up to this point for selective media storage. I will be using this w/ my Asus x83vm-x2 laptop. Any replys and questions about what I am lookin for a more than welcomed. thanks and great forum!

I went and got a Transcend (160GB) anyway because it says it pass the drop test..and to my surprise this thing is almost as fast as my external eSATA.

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
