I have and it's not as if we can write notes or such. In fact we install Classic Shell and get back to work.
There are thousands of models that can do what you ask. And my son's simple Asus k55n ds81 was a fraction of your budget and came with a 2 year drop and spill warranty. He could spend a fraction of your budget and in 2 years replace it with same price model and get all 4 years in warranty.
I am having serious trouble deciding which way I want to go. I am a student and have been and will continue to be taking online classes so I need something that will allow me to access those with speed along with web browsing and the occasional movie viewing. I'm not into gaming so that's not an issue. I would like to have a laptop with touchscreen, but that's not a necessity. A larger screen, say 15-16 inches, would be nice. Windows 8 would be my ideal OS. I want to stay under 1,000 dollars and would prefer it be much lower than that, say around 600-800. I also have a son so I anticipate always having the need for excessive picture storage. Can anyone help me??
