Best compact camera for low-light shots (without flash)?

Mar 17, 2006 9:53PM PST

I am looking for a small, fairly easy compact camera which takes good pictures inside in low light situations. The best would not need a flash in order to take a good picture in low light----is there such a camera?
Thanks!

Any compact camera with exposure compensation option most probably can do this job.It will be much easier with high ASA/ISO settings viz. 400.Long shutter speed option will also do.
