Best color laser printer for small print runs

Dec 10, 2009 1:48AM PST

Hi,
I'm looking for a color laser printer to print short runs (50-100 pages) of 2 sided hand-outs with small splashes of color. Using Win7, 64 bit
The important issues are (in order)

Color quality > Ink cost > Speed > double sided > Printer size > cost.

Any suggestions?
Thanks
Bob

You might consider leasing.

Cost per print goes up, but you don't have to pay for consumables or service.
With a three year lease you get new hardware every three years and there is no struggling with a temperamental printer that is near end of life.

We have leased printers from Xerox and Canon.
Our local Canon reseller is top drawer, Xerox not so much.
Having said that, we on our third Xerox Phaser and never had any problems with them.

Give your local resellers you requirements and see what the tell you.

I had a Oki C3100 for 5 years and loved it, just bought the Oki C5950dn and its great.
Konica was my second choice.
I do mainly color with plenty of graphics, consumables was also a issue in my choice.
