Best Codec

Hi, I have a few high definition (1080p) films that I've made for college. I want to host them on my website but I can't afford to pay $100 a month in Bandwidth. So what would the best codec to use to allow streaming on my website without having a giant file and without losing quality?

you can always just put it on bittorrent. Wink

even with a codec, you will still end up with a MASSIVE file.

I'm no expert, but that's the only HD codec I've seen that streams - either through Quicktime or Windows Media Player. Sorry though - I have no idea what you would use to encode. Quicktime Pro perhaps? Or you could try the freeware at
