Best camcorder for filming surfing

Jun 7, 2004 12:28PM PDT

Interested in filming surfing both from a yacht and in the water, looking for a mid price 3ccd camcorder which has good image stablization and features for action shooting. Would like to increase my optical zoom with a lens doubler but having trouble finding a water housing which accomodates this. Any info on water housing would be great.
P.S. needs to be compatable to Mac OSX

Custom camera housings are done all the time. Just a matter of finding one in your part of the world. Hint: google it.

As to the camera, the moment you decided on 3CCD, you moved into non-consumer grade machines and will do as good as it gets.

As to Mac, your camera maker/vendor will tell you. If not, keep shopping.
