I am not fully conversant with the latest camcorders on the market, however, our experience of airshows, suggests it is not all about the camcorder. There is a need for a good long lens/zoom, but this has the difficulty of creating an unstable image (shakey) so any form of stabilisation of image would be useful. Also consider a stable, not flimsey tripod with a a good pan & tilt head or similar means of holding the camcorder steady. Next weekend we return to Air shows after a couple of years break, Kemble/Cotswold for Battle of Britain show.

I go to airshows A LOT and i would like to start recorded them for personal and youtube uses. What would be the best one to do that? Also i would like to vlogg and stuff so it needs to have good zoom and stuff. I have a price range of around 500. thanks!
