Question

Best Budget General Laptop

Apr 27, 2015 3:54AM PDT

I'm looking to buy a 14"-ish laptop under $350. I don't mind buying refurbished. The heaviest process that I would probably use the laptop for is to watch Netflix/Hulu, online videos on it. I don't have any plans to game on it or really use it for any reason other than videos, Internet, iTunes, and simple work activities (such as using Office programs).
It'll mostly serve as a TV/workhorse for those Office programs at home. I want a 14" and hopefully something decently light (though not a major problem since I carried my last laptop in my messenger bag) so that I can also use the laptop for traveling. I occasionally like to work at places other than home. I won't be using it for too extensive of activities outside of the home, so I'm not really in need of a laptop that can handle 3 hours on a train next to a coffee and a muffin every day. So, basically, just looking for the best possible general laptop for under $350, is 14"ish, and somewhat light. Refurbished is once again, not a problem.

Thanks for your help.
