Best Brand Laptop:

Apr 11, 2017 4:23PM PDT

Hi, I am thinking about getting a new laptop. I would like to know the most reliable brand to get. I have a Toshiba Qosmio Laptop now. It has Windows 7. I bought it in 2010. Thank You!

As far as I'm concerned, the best laptop is the one that has worked best for you ...

I have had problems with the laptop freezing up when doing a virus scan, and I had to hold the power button to shut the laptop down..

That's what this is about ?

Have you ever blown this out with canned air or any type of maintenance ?
I would bet that you have either Norton or McAffee anti virus running ...

New thermal paste and canned air would be a must!

I would say that it's amongst the best Cool
I took mine apart and blew the fuzz out of it , changed the thermal paste , replaced the fans and put it back together . it's still running like a champ.
I am thinking about throwing a SSD in there now though. I recently installed a SSD in one of my desktops and I can't believe how fast it is , I thought it was already fast .....

You should run some scans too just to make sure your comp doesn't have malware or PUP's

Even without taking apart.

Start with a daily vent cleaning for a week, then weekly for a month and then 1st of the month from now on. Does wonders for laptops that never had this done.

All makers have had issues but Apple continues to be a best for many.

What does the laptop need to do? Games?
