Best Audio in a thin-n-light or ultra portable?

My CEO needs a new, lightweight laptop, with two overarching needs: Excellent audio and a dvd-cdrw. It's easy to find a thin-n-light with the burner, but nobody ever says much about audio. Can anyone out there provide a little guidance?
