belkin - usb 2.0 dvd creator problems

i have recently installed the belkin dvd creator but after about 20 seconds of video capturing the computer switches intself of and restarts. Any ideas?

Is the CPU chip overheating?
Is your video Captuer card overheathing?
I recommend that you check these things.
If one of these things are you have a overheating problem that is making this happen.
If you are overheating I would recommend that you check the fans.

heat might be the problem, but that depends on whether it happens after about the same amount of time each time or not. it should happen quicker and quicker if it is a heat problem. otherwise, the software might be defective.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
