Called tech support and they didn't have any advice to give.
Looks like I may have to return the player.
This was already being discussed in the other thread, but after 7 pages it seems like we can only respond to the initial post so I'm reposting my issue here:
When I first got my blu-ray player (Samsung 1500) everything was great, however, after installing the firmware update I have started to get the loss of signal/blue screen for about 5 seconds as the movie loads.
Also when I turn on my player, it goes straight to loading even if there isn't a disc inserted.
I have the latest firmware but while reading on here, I believe the firmware can not fix the loss of signal issues?
Very frustrating, am I better off returning/exchanging my Samsung player at this point?
Tried different HDMI ports but no luck
I know one of the other users on here said they called tech support who told him it was the TV trying to reset the resolution and whatnot, but seeing as how hardly anyone else has this issue it seems like it could be something faulty.
Anyone with any advice?
