bdp 1500 audio sync probs

Hi,
Currently running a BDP 1500 Bluray, using firmware 2.4, hooked up to a samsung Samsung BP40E0 LCD tv via HDMI, UK based

I upgraded late july, and since then I would swear the audio on BR discs is a fraction out compared to the picture.

I've tried different audio settings on the player, no joy, tried different connections to the TV, same result.

Any ideas? I thought I might be able to downgrade the firmware, but have tried both usb and iso versions of 2.3 firmware with no joy

Problems dosn't seem to exist when playing normal dvd , on BR, and have tested with number of discs all with same results.
