BD P3600 Problem with NetFlix

Jul 27, 2009 11:32AM PDT

I purchased my player this weekend and have encountered this strange problem. I am able to connect to the network via wireless and I also tried a wired connection with the same results. Although the unit passes the network test, when it connects to NetFlix it identifies the movies that I have entered into the cue for instant viewing, but here is the problem. All of the movies and shows appear as gray boxes with the words no image available on them. Then when I select one for instant play, after several seconds I get the message that this title is not available for instant viewing. This happens with any title I try it with. I have deactivated the account and reset the machine and the same problem happens. I have absolutely no problem with Pandora. A laptop on the same connection connects to the internet and NetFlix without a problem. I am about out of ideas. Anyone have an idea of why this is happening and even better, how to fix it? Sad

You raise a good possibility which I definitely considered. I have checked for updates two times and there are none available.
