Unfortunately, I'm unfamiliar with the BD-P1620, as that's not a U.S. product. I would reluctantly have to suggest that you call the Samsung customer service center in your region to get clarification about the streaming capabilities of the player.
I don't have any IR codes for the remotes - was it Samsung controllers or a universal remote control that didn't have programmable codes?
I have an LE40M8 TV, an AV-R720 AV amplifier and have just added a BD-P1620 Blu Ray Player. These are interconnected by HDMI and the BD-P1620 connects via a wired LAN to the internet. The set up works OK and the 1620 manages to play You Tube material and also update itself. The thing I would like it to be able to do is to play photos, video and music files from either a Network attached server or a PC attached to the same LAN - in much the same way as you can with an X-Box360 or other streamer. It looks as though the 1620 has everything needed to be able to do it - but I can't find out how.
The second issue is about IR controllers. The 1620 IR controller is able to control the TV but I cannot get either of the other controllers to control the 1620 - none of the codes suggested in their instructions work. Doer anyone know what the appropriate codes are for the 1620?
