I appreciate your candid feedback, and will be happy to share your thoughts with our marketing team.
Have you had any further issues with the same movie (Year One), or any other titles?
First off I'd like to say that I was disappointed to find out the player did not have a built in wireless adapter, and that you couldn't use a wireless adapter you already had or even go out and buy any random one, but that I would have to actually buy the proprietary adapter, which I might add is very expensive. I also feel like the box and advertising was misleading, saying it was wireless ready.
Secondly, I'd like to say that the picture and features are amazing, if it is working properly.
The first movie we watched on the player was "Angels and Demons" on blu-ray and about 30 minutes into the movie the sound just stopped. I had to rewind and play again. It happened again near the end of the movie, and again I had to rewind and play.
After the movie I decided to update the firmware to see if that would help. The version of firmware that was loaded on the player during the movie was, I think, 1.03..... and now it is up to date. I followed the instructions to upgrade the firmware twice if doing it by USB. The process went smoothly.
We then watched "The Incredible Hulk" on blu-ray with no problems.
This morning, while watching "Year One" on blu-ray, the movie just decided to stop, the sound and picture. I had to rewind and play again to get it to work again. It also happened a second time near the end of the movie, same problem, sound and picture stopping.
