Ryan Henderson,
I might suggest trying a different cable; the symptoms seem consistent with a cable other than a HDMI 1.3 compliant cable. If that doesn't work, I'm not sure what the issue could be. Two players displaying the same issue could be the cable, or possibly an update is available for the TV.

Hello Everyone,
Just purchased Samsung BD-P1590 blu ray player and I am getting white spots across the screen and the picture flashes. I am using HDMI cables to connect to my LG 1080P LCD, but I know the cables and TV are functioning properly because I also am running an XBOX 360 and HD cable box using HDMI inputs and when I switch the devices over to the cable/ input the blu ray is using they work just fine. This issue has only happened on the blu ray player. If I adjust the FS settings the problem goes away when viewing a blu ray movie, but it comes back every time I turn off and turn back on the player. Also regular dvds show the same white spots and flashes. When using composite cables the dvd player works perfectly, so I think the issue has something to do with the HDMI. The firmware is updated, and I have tried resetting the player. Any advise? This is my 2nd player to do it.
Thank you for your help.
