BD-P1500 will not play BD-R or AVCHD disks

by rpleak / June 16, 2009 4:19 PM PDT

The main reason I bought the p1500 was that in the specs, it was stated that it would play BR-R and AVCHD disks. After many attempts, I haven't been able to get either type to play on my player. The BD-R disks start to load, but the player just hangs up, and it won't even start to play AVCHD disks. The disks I burn play just fine on my computers, can someone give me a hand with this problem?

Can someone help me? Maybe the Samsung HD tech support rep?

So far no one has replied to my previous post. Has anyone else gotten BD-R or AVCHD disks to play on the BD-P1500? Anyone?

AVCHD playback on 1500

Make sure NOT to have an AUXDATA folder.

If auxdata is present re-burn your movie without it.

Thanks! I'll give it a try. Now if the Samsung tech rep would just help me with the problems I have with BD-R non-playback...
