BD-P1500 Big trouble !!!

Feb 5, 2009 7:15PM PST

Hello,

I've bought Blue Ray BD-P1500 in july 2008

Since 2 or 3 months I'm getting troubles using remote control and front panel :

All Discs are loading bur most of times I'm unable to launch the movie (no response from "OK" button of the remote, or from front panel)
Unable to open or close
Only On/Off is working

The player seems to be locked, not responding to any control.

Please help...

Thank you

Thank you for your answer

I tried to update with USB device with file 090105_01_BDP1500_XAA.RUF, unfortunately, nothing happened...(only a message "USB Connected") but still no access to menu or anything except on/off.

notebleue,

It may be a service issue at this point. Unless you can hit the FF button on the unit and do a reset (hold it down for 8 seconds), there's not much more than either of us can do until a tech is able to diagnose an issue.

Keep me posted.

notebleue,

Then your unit will likely require service. I hate giving that answer, but there's no other way to reset it.
