Have you checked all of the mac filters on the new router to make sure nothing is blocking the player from connecting? Also, make sure that you have ports 182-192 open, as well as make sure that the 2.4 GHZ is enabled if it's a dual band router.
Hope this helps!

Here's the issue: my Samsung BD-F5700, which I was able to initially connect to my wifi, has inexplicably lost connection and will not re-connect.
Info: For years I had a Linksys WRT54G wireless router and everyone at my house played well together. Recently, I replaced my old router with a Linksys EA8500 wireless router and, at first, everyone got along just fine. Tonight, my BD-F5700 wouldn't connect wirelessly whether I tried the WPS or manually inputting my wireless password (which contains letters, numbers, and special characters). When I tried going the WPS route, it eventually timed out and gave me a message telling me that I needed to set the security on my router to AES because WPS doesn't support WEP encryption. I have my router set to use WPA2 Personal security so I'm not sure why it gave that message. When manually entering the wireless password it just refused to connect to the router. After several attempts I decided to hard reset the bluray player but still ended up with the same results.
I've read through several other posts and, though similar, they all seem different enough that the solution either didn't work for me or didn't apply to this situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
