BD-E5900ZA won't load discs....

I have had this blu ray player for about two months and have only used it a few times. Today I went to load a DVD in it and it just started making a skipping/scratching noise and the display just constantly read "load". Tried a different DVD, same thing. Blu ray, same thing....time to take it back?
