BD-4600 reset wireless router connection

by 8561dhc / December 29, 2009 7:55 AM PST

I'm unable to reset my wireless router connection on my BD-4600. I need to switch wireless routers, but the setup>internet connection>wireless menu doesn't allow me to change my settings. When I select the current router, it attempts to initialize - there is no way to select a different available router. The other router is in range (checked with my laptop). As is, I can't connect to my Netflix...

You might perform a reset on your unit by holding down the FF "button" on the unit for 12 seconds. It will reset itself, and should allow you to set up the unit to your new router.

BD-4600 Netflix connection
by 8561dhc / January 16, 2010 2:19 AM PST

OK, I got the BD-4600 to accept a new wireless router by pulling the wireless USB plug off and then reattaching. I re-initialized, went to Netflix, selected "existing member," but I keep getting a screen that says that Netflix is temporarily unavailable. It refers me to the netflix help section, which offers no advice for wireless devices, just PC's. Initially I got a message telling me to check my proxy setting, which is "on" and set to port 8080. Any advice appreciated!
