BD-1600 picture cuts out --bad firmware update or other?

Have the BD-1600 and strangely but continually after 15-20 minutes, the picture goes away while the sound continues. Happens with DVDs or Netflix streaming so obviously not bad disks.

Almost like a screensaver kicks in on your PC. I have the latest firmware update so not sure if that is the issue as it didn't do this before.

Anyone else have this & what is the cure?

Reset may have fixed this

Did a live chat with Tech Spt... they suggested a reset (with no DVD, hold FF arrow for 5 sec). Claim that the unit can change settings if power disruption etc.

Went thru it and re-did the Netflix setup. Played for 45 min show so hopefully this did it.

Try it if you have this issue.
