Is there a firewall or limitation in the router that would keep information from passing? See if disabling permissions or adding www.netflix.com as an "allowed" site fixes the issue.
I recently bought a BD-1600, but haven't been able to get any of the Internet features to work properly. I have the box plugged in to my wireless router, with all of the settings on automatic. I was able to set the Netflix and Pandora accounts up, which means the box is somehow getting an Internet connection. Additionally, my Netflix queue shows up on the screen. However, the queue doesn't have ANY of the movie images and no movie will stream. I'm connected to a T3 line (university housing), so speed definitely isn't an issue.
Anyone know why these problems might be occurring? The only reason I bought a Blu-ray player when I did was because of the Netflix streaming (otherwise I would have waited until prices dropped a bit more).
Also, when I run the network diagnostic, it finds everything but then craps out at the last step and says there isn't an Internet connection...despite being able to connect when retrieving my queue.
