We are told by some that the BBC is fair and impartial. I have found it to be slanted to the left like most of the media.

The networks, NY Times, Time, Newsweek etc.

The major media that brings most news into most homes in the world. Most of it is liberal.

We've seen this argument many times and frankly it is not worth a rehash.

Source, source, source, source, source, source, source

I'll give it credence when I see it in a Real newspaper, Not the Telegraph, Not the Sun and Not the Daily Sport.

However the Telegraph may be correct in this since it's how the Telgraph itself operates. Think Washington Times only worse.

It's been widely reported. Maybe you should turn on your radio or pick up a paper.

By the way, you're one to complain about anyone's sources considering the bogus ones you have cited. Smirk smirk.

Isn't Times heavily right wing?
Apr 25, 2005 12:49PM PDT

I don't know, but think I have seen that.If that is the case it's not reliable.
No news are completely objective. All reporters report from their point of view.Idoubt anyone here would be able to tell a story from an objective point of view. When we(independently of our opinions)see something,we put our own values into it.So objective media is almost impossible. But there is media that allows more or less critical points of view from their writers.

Huh?

What does your reply have to do with my post?Nothing in my opinion! You keep bringing up Rather and Kerry and others that you don't like and it seems as if that is done due to lack of arguments. What was wrong in my post?If nothing, why did you have to even mention Mr.Rather whose mistake he apologized for.Your comment was completely uncalled for and only made in order to provoke and to taunt!

I believe it is conservative

though not "heavily". What, does that mean a factual news story covered u the Times is not to be believed? Only liberal sources need apply? The story has been reported in many papers.

l'izqierdo. Yes Senhor Sancho but it is a much better and somewhat more honest paper than the other trash that adheres to the Right Wing agenda. Anything with Rupert Murdoch on the masthead, thats most of Australia almost half of the UK and far too much of the US (Faux News, the New York Post and others too filthy to mention [sorry, that's too vile to mention,] the filthy ones are in England and Australia).

Mas donde sta El Quixote. Non a los molinas encore?

Hope heads roll, for lazy journalism like this.

I've been trying to explain the need of large news organizations for conflict to lead their news broadcasts, and where there is no conflict to make it up, but this was not what I meant.

Overall the quality of the Beeb and their world wide reach still overwhelms this bit of stupidity, but I wont quarrel with calling it staged or stupid.

Thanks again for the extra source.
