On a more serious note

I'm feeling quite sorry for our nation at this time. I watch what's going on in the news with the angry mobs destroying property and feel like I've seen this before. Well...yes I have, but it's been in news footage from other nations that are on the threshold of anarchy. I would watch in horror and be thankful that my own country's citizens were mostly peaceful even in disagreement. Now we are becoming the same as those I once felt sad for. There is nothing entertaining about watching what's going on here. Even a pit bull gets more sympathy than this.

Your comments about third-world behavior in our world are truer than you may know. Mt 24:21.
Two rowboats and a helicopter. Where are we in THAT stream of time? I don't know, or I would tell you. 24:29-31. So would Peter. 2 Pet 2;5.

such citations. Don't you know that we've misunderstood the intent of the first US government? We thought they pledged to make certain that no one would suffer persecution for their own practice of religion. We now learn, what they really meant is, that the insistence on being able to practice one's religion can be bring about prosecution.

As for "government", I don't see that there's much difference in many of the stated objectives of the squabbling parties. The difference is more in their means of achievement. What I can picture is a bunch of people who'd all like to go for a day at the zoo but will never get there. They'd rather shed blood while fighting over whether the bus they use is gasoline or electric powered. Happy

It isn't dangerous for those who have a refuge, like the ark. How many of those did Noah build, do you recall? Pr 18:10, NJB, "The name of Yahweh is a strong tower; the upright runs to it and is secure."
