99% of the camcorders are fitted with a battery to last about the lenght of one tape or about 60 minutes. The reason is very simple. It's the money. If they fitted a 2 or 4 hour battery, the price goes up and sales go down.
Fix? Note the mAH rating of the camcorder and then shop for one 2 times that to get 2 hours and 4X that to get 4 hours.
This is really "that simple."
I was wondering if someone could help me out. I'm looking to purchase the smallest camcorder possible with the longest battery life. Any suggestions?
