Battery kept Charge for 1 Year !

I recall those old Ni-Cad batteries that camcorders used to use. They developed memory problems. I recall my nightmare when after waiting for 3 hours to see the Disney Electrical Parade, the Ni-Cad batteries stopped working in less than 10 minutes and they were fully-charged. Now these Lithium ions are a new story. My Sony Lithium-ion battery model NP-QM71D actually kept almost fully-charged for 1 year. I was shocked. The Maxell replacement for the same battery was dead. Kudos to Sony.
