I don't see enough here for me to supply the exact command line to do this, but the command line or editing a long batch file with 1500 commands is not uncommon for system administrators. Its par for the course.

Using win 2k server with citrix in a school with a file server called W: to the students.
I want to set permissions in their W: area so that they cannot list the contents of W:\windows for their area.
I would prefer to do this though permissions as other ways of doing this has drawbacks.
I can do it on 1 directory but there are 1500, so is there a way to use cacls.exe to give permissions on lets say d:\users\p*\windows\ (as it is on the file server) so i dont have to do every one?
Thanks
