I would not find it useful as what I do, doesn't not fit on such a small drive. And the external is problematic. That is, I have to guess you haven't tried this and learned why I would not use such.
My choice would be the larger SSD model.
However, the office is more of a classic laptop model company. For 1K or less we get things like https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01578ZKPO/ Yes there's a new model out but it's not as hard to cart around as old laptops. Some were put off by the gaming in the model name but it turns out that power applies to the apps you listed as well.
Hey everyone trying to make a decision between the two, both are around the same price (the yoga drops to $1049 from time to time) see here:
While I already have a fairly powerful home built PC, I need a notebook that can handle similar needs but on a smaller scale/on the go. I want something that will still be running relatively problem free for the next 5 years if possible. Basically for me it's the software/hardware optimization (and available suites) for the Mac vs, the newer hardware of the Lenovo. I have an external HDD for storage purposes.
Here are my uses:
Digital Audio Workstation
light video editing (youtube channel)
Like I said this is not going to be my single computer, I have a desktop, but I would like it to handle these tasks on some level on the go.
I know I want one of these two I am just not sure which. Thanks for any help you guys can offer.
