Your email address was in plain text and I want to share these forums are crawlable by google and other email address HARVESTERS. Upon your request I can delete your post with your email address that is in plain view.
As to the outbound traffic, I won't look at your picture, but today's worms do that as they try to infect other machines. Same story for email infections and of course P2P programs. What I do next is to track down which machines are doing this. If a virus/worm/trojan/spyware is found it is removed. If P2P is found, then we disable that and leave a copy of the company policy on the user's screen.
It's rarely an issue since we block all but authorised ports. Just email, ftp and http.

Please look at the graph in the attached PNG file at:
http://bobduncan.50megs.com/MRTG.png
I need some techie help with analyzing this MRTG log, my questions are:
1. The outgoing traffic from our LAN seems to be much more than the incoming ? is this normal?
2. With the increased level towards the end of the graph, do you suggest I get more bandwidth, if so, how much more do you suggest?
Any other advice would be really appreciated.
