Banana connectors...worth getting?

by bevillan / April 10, 2007 4:56 AM PDT

I have a Onkyo TX-SR803 receiver, Infinity Primus 360 towers for fronts and an Infinity Primus C25 center all hooked up with Monster XP cable, but currently I am just using the screw down connectors on the bare wire to connect everything. Is it worth buying banana connectors? I believe all my speakers and receiver can handle that type of connector. Thanks.

But not on my home system.
They are easy to use, fast setup and tear down, great for temporary set ups. john

So what kind of connectors do you use on your home theater?

Since the speaker outputs are the 5 way binding posts.

I just put the bare wire in the hole and screw it down. Work fine. John

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
