i too bought a samsung package at Lowes for thousands of dollars. we are snowbirds in florida, so 2 winters for us means we used our microwave for a total of 9-10 months before the cheap plastic latches broke. that cost $119.to repair. Now just 1 year and maybe actually 4 months of use later that distress signal SE shows up in the control panel. we followed all instructions and it WILL NOT work at all. We paid for a repair person to tell us it would be close to $400 to REPAIR it..so, of course, we must just buy a new microwave.
PRETTY CRUMMY product to use for only 14 months ,paid for one repair and now a whole new unit. my last G E model lasted 27 years...!!!!!
Samsung if you are out there, you should reimburse us for the poorly designed and built model you sold us.Shame on you. I will promise you that I will alert everyone I know to stay away from your products.
