Bad Nero Support

Oct 10, 2015 11:12AM PDT

I have tried several times to make a bootable DVD with Nero 2015 Platinum Nero Burning ROM with all their default choices. I used their step by step instructions in the NBR manual. All I can get is a DVD with desktop.ini on it and nothing else.

And what kind of help do I get from their Support? Nada! They keep telling me that they don't help with this issue.

I am mentioning this is case anyone is thinking about purchasing Nero. My advice is to think at least twice before doing so. Their Support leaves a great deal to be desired.

Regards,
kr

- What should be on that bootable DVD?
- I doubt that a DVD with only desktop.ini on it is the default. So maybe you did something wrong? Please reply with a clear step-by-step description of what you did in your own words.

Creating a bootable DVD requires a bunch of work.

It's very advanced so let's read a full step by step what you are doing or what the goal is.

I ran into someone trying to make a bootable XP CD and they were so far off the mark that we had to walk too. There are ready to burn ISO's but here we can't see what you did or what the goals are.

maybe we could. But you have to give us more details. I notice there are 5 category of making .iso/boot. To start with, what do you want bootable?
