Question

Bad MAC address, no more WIFI

Jul 20, 2018 6:59AM PDT

Overnight my smart tv disconnected to the wifi. Now it says me "Bad MAC address, please contact Samsung support".
I done several resets but it still doesn't work.
I also changed of wifi points, unsuccessful.
Furthermore, i can't change wifi settings, i have to reset it and change settings at first launch.
When i try to connect, i can see that my MAC address is 00:00:00:00:00:00:00

My model : UE32K5500AKXZF

I've heard this before but you didn't tell the forum about your call to Samsung.

Ok, so the support said me that my wifi cart is dead. Got to send it to the after sales service.

Does it cost to repair?

If repair is free, let them do it.
If it costs, compare to a Roku or Fire TV stick. These sticks are always better than what is inside most smart TVs.
