You didn't tell much about your connection so all I can offer is that if you use WIFI then please find our Networking forum and try WIFI our way.
Just in case it's spyware, try the tools Grif writes about at http://forums.cnet.com/5208-6122_102-0.html?forumID=44&threadID=330796&messageID=2982140&tag=forums06;posts#2982140
Bob
What is happening is that my internet slows down to almost nothing but doesn't actually disconnect. Watching video's it stops buffering for about 10-20 seconds. When I'm playing online games, I hit 10-20 second lag spikes and occasionally disconnect from the game, but still don't actually lose my online connection. It happens to every pc on the network. I've tried everything, different ethernet cords, plugging directly into my modem(I'm using a router), and many other things. I recently took my pc to a friends apartment, though, and it did it to their internet and they have charter(I'm using a rural area dsl provider.) So after months of thinking it's my internet it was my computer... can anyone think of what's wrong with it? No virus', not my firewal or anti-virus and I'm just out of ideas... Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks
