Bad Experience with LetsTalk.com

I ordered an accessory from Let's Talk for a phone I had purchased from them. It as an LG Stereo Earbud Headset that was listed on their website as being compatible with my phone- an LG Dare. I ordered it May 2, 2009. It was shipped May 4, 2009 which means I probably received it around May 11. Due to some very serious issues going on in my life at the time, I did not have an opportunity to try the product until a month later. When I tried to use it, I found that it was not actually compatible with my phone. I called on June 25 and was told I would couldn't return it b/c it was over 30 days. I argued that the policy should maybe not apply here because it was their error that caused me to buy something that did not work on my phone. A supervisor was meant to call me back, which never happened. I wrote a letter that was not responded to. I called again and was told it was my own fault for not testing the product as soon as I received it. I feel that for the $5 or so it would cost them to accept the return and replace it with something that worked, they've lost hundreds of dollars of business from me b/c I will not use their company again and will be honest with people about the poor experience I had.

It's been 5 months now and after notifying them twice that this accessory does not work with this phone, it is still listed on their website as being compatible. Don't use this company if you want reasonable customer service.

Additionally, the rebate they promised when I bought my phone took FOREVER to process and I was sent a Visa Debit card instead of a check. Some people may find that inconvenient to use. I prefer a check.
