bad engine sound

Jul 28, 2017 11:36AM PDT

hi
i have a 2007 Daihatsu Terios and the engine is making this sound when i start it:

and after 15 to 30minutes the sound almost fades completely away, it's a gasoline engine,
any idea what this could be? i have asked different mechanics and they told me different things: the pistons, the bearings, crankshaft...

Does it have overhead camshaft and not pushrods?

If so, then sounds more like piston ping from timing being too advanced.

There can be possible causes of the bad sound engine. Check if following points are the reasons

1. Alternator bearings are gone bad
2. Bad air conditioning compressor
3. Muffler or exhaust pipe is worn out
4. Your spark plug wires are placed on the wrong spark plugs
5. The ignition wires may be bad
6. Air filter is dirty
