Bad cable underground was creating poor TV quality

by Vance14 / March 13, 2008 2:19 AM PDT

I was having a problem getting all of my HD channels (or getting them pixelated or intermittently)on my new HDTV and Time Warner suspected it might be a weak signal and may need a booster. As it turns out, it was the cable itself that was bad (as someone here mentioned it might be). The tech checked the underground cable itself and found it was damaged in some way and fixed it, all while we were not even there. He left a number for me to call him attached to my door, to see whether it did the trick. He was pretty stoked when I told him it solved the problem entirely.

So, just a FYI that this is something to check if you are having similar problems.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
