zoodoo2,

I have no idea. It appears it was taken in a dark room. What does it look like when you're running a picture?

But to test backlight uniformity you supposed to do it in a dark room. When I watch dark scenes where in corners and on top are black you can see clouding.

zoodoo2,

Some screen uniformity is inherent with LCD technology. If you feel the panel is defective, you can call 800-SAMSUNG and open up a service ticket to have the unit inspected. I would save the pictures, however, I'm not sure what the white spots are. Is that on the panel itself, or was that on the content you were using?

If you're watching movies in a dark room, try changing the settings to Movie Mode and adjusting down the brightness.
