About an al Qaeda guy making potshots at citizens. The citizenry organized and attacked the guy. I know there are other stories, I just haven't seen them. But I've heard them on the radio.
We have heard about the backlash in Jordon.

But yesterday CNN had a story about a backlash in an area of Iraq. I could not find a link today, so do not remember what area.
The report said that local ?militants? para-military? were reacting negatively re: al Queda. A quote: "They are killing and murdering both Sumis and Shiites, including women and children."
I don't know if they resent the interference in their own agendas, or if they are growing tired of the senseless attacks.
