backing up software

Dec 4, 2004 12:50AM PST

I have purchased a program for my son who is seven year old called HD Loader for playstation 2.It is a boot disk used to back up his games on a hard drive that a friend installed for him.Anyone who has a seven year old knows the abuse they can do to a cd.I have tried to back up the disk with no success.I went to the hdloader web sites only to be ridiculed for not knowing what they are talking about.I would appreciate any suggestions.

All you need to do is make a copy of the CD. Do you have a CD burner? If so, you will have software to perform the task.

The software i have tried to use so far are, roxio, cakewalk pyro, and sonic record now with no success. I haven't had problems backing up my own software. I am confused as to why this is happening.

Perhaps since it is for Playstation 2, you can't make a copy like you can with a regular program CD. Wish I could be of more help.
