Backing up pictures on flash drive

How do I copy pictures from my laptop, Windows 7- windows live photo gallery to a flash drive? Do I copy and paste to the drive? Thank you.

Copy-paste in Explorer is a common way to copy files. Drag-and-drop is common also.
Both assume your pictures are on your own hard disk and you can locate them in Explorer.

Hi Kees,
So I would have to actually drag the photo, as there is no send to.. is this correct?
And all the photos show up, vs as description?

It's just the same as copying to any folder on any disc (not a CD or DVD), stick or diskette. There is no sent to for such devices.
