I came across this great tool called IFTTT.com. It does exactly what I was looking for. Yup, auto-responding like a boss. 
I share a Dropbox folder with my brother.
We are constantly adding new stuff and removing files we no longer want to keep. Content is basically pdfs and docs.
I want to share the content of this folder with my classmates, but I don't want to directly share this particular folder with any of them.
Is there a way to create another Dropbox folder (shared with my classmates and not shared with my brother) that would sync with the one I only share with my brother, so that none of my classmates can modify the original data?
In the perfect scenario, deleting content in the original folder wouldn't reflect changes on the dupe folder (and the other way around).
