backing up a movie

Feb 6, 2005 10:58AM PST

i am using dvd shrink and i want to back up a movie but without the previews of upcoming movies. how do i do that? i see that there is an option to do a re-author mode but how do i know what to exclude and what to include? if i do a full backup there is no problem but then i get the previews on the disc. wanna avoid those. how?

A few things.

1. It's out there on the web.
2. User prohibited actions are removed so such isn't a requirement. Just hit the menu button.

Because of the nature of this program, this is all I can tell you.

drag and drop
Feb 6, 2005 11:20AM PST

After choosing reauthor, dvd browser tab, drag title 1 over to the left box. On compression tab I usually uncheck the audio and subpictures they don't need anyways. Sometimes at this point I clip off some end credits to make the compression less.

I showed my children some cd's from the mid 80's, not a scratch, they weren't impressed.
A backup dvd usually lasts 1-2 months for them, I could never justify going and repurchasing a new dvd for them to destroy.
