For years I have been using Norton Ghost to back up my hard drives completely including the operating system. This is because the HDs have become so cheap. If one has a complete crash of his HD in hia desktop, all he has to do is substitute his backed up new drive to the old HD. His cable enables him to use original HD as master and new one as slave. When it comes to a laptop however there is no floppy and no IDE cable that is accessable. Is there a way to back up the HD of a laptop without having to reinstall the OS with Ghhost or other program?
OS is WindowsXP,Computer is a Gateway 4530GZ.
