Back up DVD copies of Monk TV series Collection Set

I would like help on backing up my Monk and other DVD box sets. One Dvd has four (4) 45min episodes (7.2G) on the dvd and the dvd that I am trying to copy to says it can hold up to 4.7G. I there a dvd copying program like DVD Clone, DVDFab, or Clone Dvd that allows me to put the 7.2G on a 4.7G? Or should I try to buy a Dvd with 7.2G or higher.

you might want to backup with double layer dvd (which holds 7.2). The thing here is the cost; 60cents(7.2) vs. 20cents(4.7). To put 7.2 into a 4.7 will take a lot longer time plus your resolution will suffer.
