Back-end editing causes date disruption...

It's long been known that back-end editing caused the post's creation date to be changed, but now there's a new facet to the matter. Take, for instance, this thread, now supposedly created on August 7th with my reply being posted on August 5th. Now, if you go to the Q&A Forum and look for that thread, the 'last post' states August 7th (the thread starter, which was edited) but it links to my reply, from August 5th. It's a trivial matter, but one to be added at the bottom of the list.

it has something to do with the international dateline. Happy
